Ljubuški is another ancient village on the vast and rocky mountainous western Herzegovina, where numerous archaeological sites testify to the presence of the Illyrians and Romans in Trebižat before the arrival of the Slavs. The upper part of the river Trebižat is rich of trout, and is known for its beautiful waterfall Kravica, which is 5 km away from Ljubuški. The lower part of the river is rich of carp and eel.
